About the No Pucker Challenge
The No Pucker Challenge was created to drive awareness and raise funds to find a cure for Niemann-Pick Type C (NPC). NPC, also known as "Childhood Alzheimer's," is a rare and fatal childhood disease. Scientists have already discovered one avenue for slowing the progression of NPC and are on the cusp of more discoveries. But, there still is no cure and NPC is still a fatal disease. Today there is hope, but time is of the essence.
The No Pucker Challenge was created by Do/Love/Live with Hopeformarian.org. Sara and Paul McGlocklin started Hope For Marian driven to help find a cure for their sweet 2 year-old, Marian, and everyone fighting for their lives against fatal Niemann-Pick Type C. They are collaborating with other families in the NPC community, as well as the research efforts of Support of Accelerated Research for NPC (SOAR) and the Ara Parseghian Medical Research Fund at Notre Dame (APMRF).
